Coaching is my passion and I would like to inspire it to be your passion as well. We need to enjoy coaching others in order to be good at it and we usually like the things that we are good at. Allow me the opportunity to help you to LIKE coaching and to be good at behavioral based coaching.
Here are some key aspects of the professional coaching that I provide:
- Servant-Leader focused. There are 10 characteristics of a servant-leader (as summarized by Larry Spears of the writings of Robert Greenleaf – Listening, Empathy, Healing, Awareness, Persuasion, Conceptualization, Foresight, Stewardship, Commitment to the Growth of People and the Building of Community. - Behavioral Management Focused. It is important to frame situations in the appropriate context. An external perspective on situations can assist you in reframing your thought processes. Human resources, political symbolic and structural components are important to consider when understanding how our behaviors are being perceived in the organization in which we are working. With this foundation, I have developed a process for helping leaders take the journey to becoming stronger coaches. It starts by understanding the foundations of behavioral management. Armed with a list of the behaviors that make leaders successful, leaders are able to change their own behaviors that will help to inspire others to change their behaviors. While it is important to be situational with our behaviors, it is also important to recognize how different behaviors can assist us in supporting the transformations that we hope to achieve in our organizations.
By observing situations, I can help to provide a unique perspective on how all the behaviors of the individuals are working together to create the culture or climate that works best for you and your customers.
